Hey, I remember you told me you had problems with foreshortening. Looking at your impressive gallery (again) I've realised you have not addressed this!!! Mel!
Here, though, is something pretty close it's a difficult position and I like the way you've carried your elements through (like hinting the possibility of another front leg being visible and making the back leg emerge behind the wing). Remember that drawing I started of a horse in german? I've touched it up into a rough sketch and all this horse-drawing knowledge came back! yay~ I won't feel so useless now looking at horse pictures.

I really love it! The picture 'feels' so warm, its beautiful ^_^
The wings -- whoah. I love how they seem fluffy at the top but then smooth out and look sleek and strong, yet graceful and beautiful. The shading and shadows are amazing, i dont think i'll ever know how you do it so well, no matter how many tutuorials there are!! You're very talented
The horse's mane and tail also look sleek, i love howthe tail sort of curls up and isnt just one big clump, the same goes for the mane. Beautiful.
And the eyes are beautiful ^_^
The pose is interesting and eye-catching, and drawn very well. It's sort of awkward, but that's only beccause it *IS* awkward to be sitting like that, if you're a horse (and yes, yes i do have personal experience ) You've captured this well- the way s/he looks like they're resting after a long day, finally putting their head down and relaxing.
Overall, you know how much I love your art, and this is no exception. The shading, colours (despite your "surprising lack of browns") look simply wonderful and compliment one another, as do the awesome shadows and stunning highlights. Well done
